For those who are saying tell them, have any of you ACTUALLY cheated on your partner? Not been cheated on but cheated?
I've been on both sides.. if I knew it would NEVER happen again and it was a stupid mistake , I'd honestly never say a damm thing. Sometimes it takes a jolt to realize what you have. 
If I was unhappy enough and thought of doing it again, I'd leave. I might tell them depending on the situation. But I wouldn't want to hurt them anymore than I already have.
Rules reversed where if I was cheated on, same deal. Don't tell me unless you're that unhappy. But I've only ever cheated once and it was when I was REALLY young and dumb. I have never considered cheating on my husband. So I'm not worried. And neither is he.
