How do you know if someone loves you?

How so you know if someone actually really loves you? Like I know they can buy you gifts and say they love you but anyone can do that, so how do you really know

Figure out their love languages, do they display these to you? If so, I think that’s the most sincere way to tell that they love & care for you.

They make the effort and are consistent daily. They make you a priority. They put your needs in consideration before making decisions and ask for your input. Someone who’s there for you when you need them and doesn’t bail. Someone who is patient, someone who is kind, doesn’t judge you or hold your past against you. Accepts you for who you are. Does the little things. Anticipates your needs pampers you. Sees a need and does things without being asked. Goes above and beyond. When they see that you’ve had a rough day, takes care of you,  when you are sick takes care of you too. Gives you a break when you need it. Is considerate of your feelings. Listens to you. Doesn’t make you feel bad about yourself or use guilt or manipulation to get what they want. It’s a lot of things. It’s not it’s not the stuff that you see in movies. It’s what happens when things get real or in times of trouble or death in the family etc. the ones that stick around are the ones they love you.
