Do any other mothers feel like this?

I’m about to be a new mom and I’m scared, the world is a scary place how do i know my baby is going to be safe at all costs? There are child abducters and pedophiles and murderers all over, even going to school is not even a safe place anymore. I’m so scared like i know that i will try to do everything to protect my baby but people sometimes do everything to protect them and still bad things happen. I swear i feel like if someone were to hurt my baby i will turn into a murderer because i need my baby. 😩 i can’t stop crying im really that scared.

It’s scary and you’ll never stop worrying. But worry will not change anything. There’s a huge percentage nothing like that will happen to your kid so you just have to try to relax. Welcome to motherhood.

When your child is old enough to go to school, teach them the importance of their body. Tell them it's only there's, no one else is allowed or should touch them in any way. Help build their trust with you to talk about things that are difficult. Help build their confidence to shout and make a scene if something if about to happen. Mostly build their confidence in their ability to help situations. Tell them run, fight, scream. ALL manners are off the table if someone is going to hurt you. Other than that, when they are small they are usually with you all the time anyway. You got this Mama, your baby is going to be beautiful and happy!

I never actually worried over things.. especially since he’s always with me, chances are slim. The only ‘hurt’ he’s been is rolling off the bed onto a pillow lol and constantly bumping his head (he’s 3) cause he doesn’t duck low🙃
