Mirena iud or depo shot..?

I have the mirena rn and I’m constantly feeling bloated.. starting to rash out on my face now. 
Cramps,spotting ughhh i hate the symptoms tbh

Depo made me gain like 40lbs. I had mirena and didn’t mind it. It ended up falling out after about 3 years though.

I broke out on my face, back, and chest after getting mirena. I’ve NEVER had acne before even in my teenage years other than maybe a pimple here or there. It did clear away. Acne is a noted side effect. I had cramping slightly just the first few days and then I had cramping right before my cycle. Nothing severe, but also a new symptom as I never cramped off bc. This never changed. I’ve tried every bc out there and this was by far the best one FOR ME. If your symptoms are too bad, you can definitely change. Removing it was quick and easy.

If it doesn’t work for you, I don’t see why you wouldn’t try something else. I love mine and wouldn’t consider another option, but I only have positive side effects.
