Husband being sneaky?

I feel like my husband is up to something. We currently live 1,200 miles apart(long story). Anyway, he was suppose to come visit this upcoming weekend. But due to money and stupid Covid19 the trip was canceled. I feel like he’s still trying to come. He keeps asking what I’m doing this weekend, keeps apologizing for not being able to make it. Then today he asked if I would be home Saturday. He said he ordered me something but I need to be home to sign for it. Am I reading to much into it?
