Promethazine? While pregnant?

Anyone take this for your sickness? Did it help and is it safe? Experiences?

I took this before pregnancy for severe IBS. My gastroenterologist said I had to stop now that I’m pregnant and that it’s not safe for use during pregnancy.

I took it for both my pregnancies worked for the first baby healthy 4yr old with this baby took it for a month but I was really bad I was put on something else baby so far is completely healthy

My old ob prescribed it to me... I for sure didn’t take it
