In the face of the coronavirus pandemic, are any of you thinking about a home birth?

E

My hubby and I are only in the early stages of TTC, but like many of us, I've been spending a lot of time reading. Recently, I've been spending a lot of time reading about midwives where I live.

There is significant reference to a homebirth being just as safe as a hospital birth for low risk pregnancies, and it got me wondering as to whether that may be a good option to avoid the exposure to the pandemic.

This may or may not be something I actually have to worry about, as who knows how long this will last or how long it will take for us to conceive.

But I want to know your thoughts: anyone considering homebirth specifically because of the pandemic?
