why wont my period stop !

This is ridiculous. it won’t stop ! i want to stop bleeding. i started birthcontrol this month but my grandma said this shouldn’t be happening. is it normal or do i need to contact my dr?

It could take 3-6 months for your body at adapt to the hormones. I been on bc for 8 months and this past month my cycle was similar to this. It really stinks. Id say after month 2 if it still happening see your dr.

It’s probably because of the BC. Call your dr, I would stop taking it and get a different birth control option. If you’re gonna have sex then use condoms until you get the bleeding controlled

Is it heavy bleeding or just a little blood? Also what kind of bc are you on? It can be very normal to have irregular bleeding/periods for the first couple months of some bc but always mention it to your doctor
