Because of this lockdown I have money accumulating and I’ve always wanted AirPods but always refrained because of expenses. But now I’ve had a month of no expense, should I bite the dust and buy them?

yes! i use mine for everyday use outside of travelling (i prefer my sony xm3 for flights) and they're pretty comfortable. plus great for hands free communication since the 2nd gen and later have siri enabled.
