When you see the name Finley do you picture a boy or girl name?

Question

I know in the US it’s becoming an either or name while in other European countries I read it’s strictly a male name. Meaning fair haired warrior. My SO says he thinks it may sound girly because of the “ley” at the end and it got me thinking maybe he’s right. 
He dosent care too much for the short form Finn and says he would rather Finnick and Finn for short. 
so I figured I would ask for outside opinions on what you think of the name because we don’t know anyone with the name Finley. Thank you !

My nephew’s name is Finley. It is the 273rd most popular boy name and 163rd most popular girl name, so it is a little more common for girls than boys. I would say it’s a unisex name, though

I know people are names their girls this ,but if someone says that’s their child’s name to me I automatically think boy. Maybe it’s the new trend of “unisex” names but yea lol

I am from the UK, I know several male Finnley's never thought of it as girls name. But it's also a surname so I can see how that would work
