Clicking while nursing. Doesn’t hurt , and baby has a good latch, but is it supposed to have this sound?

My son sounded like that due to a tongue tie. But, he wasn’t latching or nursing correctly and wasn’t gaining weight.

If it doesn’t hurt and baby is gaining weight appropriately, I wouldn’t worry about it. Does baby like to suck on his tongue? Like after he’s done eating or when he’s sleeping sucking like he has a pacifier except he doesn’t. He probably is trying to suck too quickly and he’s breaking the suction every fee sucks. Again, I wouldn’t worry about it unless it’s painful or baby isn’t gaining weight 😊
