At 41w1d my little bundle of love made his entrance into the world. 7lbs 14oz 22 inches of happiness. They started pitocin at 5:52pm on April 4th, contractions started at 6:45. Started getting too painful so I got morphine shot, which only made me tired & did not make ANY of the pain better. Was only 3cm dilated at midnight even after many hours of contractions on pitocin. Stuck through it until almost 1am & then they offered epidural & even though I was not planning on getting it I did, the pain was unbearable at this point. Epidural was done, about 20 mins in started feeling pressure & said I think I have to push! Got checked again & nurse said you’re ready you’re having a baby. Took 5 minutes, 2 contractions, 4 pushes altogether for him to be here. Got 2nd degree tear & torn labia but it’s all worth it for my little bean. ❤️ Emmanuel Luis was born at 1:44am 4/5/20.
