Waiting to have a baby?

My fiancé and I have been together for 7 years. We both have good jobs and a house. He is the youngest of this three brothers and he says that he doesn’t want to have a baby yet because it seems unfair since he’s the youngest. I feel like I’m putting my life on hold because his older siblings haven’t had children yet. Does waiting make sense?

Lol no. Although, my older brother was upset that I had a kid before him and I’m the youngest. That’s a dumb reason to hold off on waiting to try for a baby.

That’s ridiculous... sounds like he just doesn’t want a baby and is coming up with some ridiculous excuse. What if his brothers never have kids? Or if one of them has infertility or a spouse who has infertility and it takes them 10 years to have a kid? These are possible and it’s stupid to put your life on hold like that... my little sister had her baby and idc at all. I love my nephew. It won’t take away the specialness of me and my husband having a baby when we do. So i don’t understand his thinking

That’s crazy. I was the first of my siblings to have kids & I’m one of the youngest. I don’t see that as any valid reason to put your own lives on hold. I’d have a serious talk with him, maybe he’s using it as an excuse because he isn’t quite ready
