Was this wrong of him?

So my job is a family business with a few extra people. It was my dad and I and we got busy. Currently doing pick up only or lobby pick up due to the corona virus. We work at a dispensary my dad was on the phone as three orders came in online for us to put together on top of a guy calling us for another order. My dad continued to sit on the couch and when three customers came in every other minute as I was putting together three other orders he told me instead of getting up and getting off his phone he told me if I can help them. He was talking on the phone about gossip in front of customers. For 20-30 minutes I was running back and fourth outside doing orders as he was talking on the phone. Their mindset seems like they’re the owners or managers so I guess he’s not in the wrong but I felt like it was messed up to make me run back and forth because I was already doing like four orders all at once and he could’ve easily taken care of the customers at the window.
