Has anyone ever heard of insurance not covering you if you’re induced?

A friend just mentioned that if you’re electively induced, especially before 40 weeks, your insurance won’t cover your birth expenses. Has anyone ever heard of this or have experience?

Never heard that and I don’t think that’s true. I would call your insurance to double check but it’s not like you are getting a nose job...you are giving birth
