So for roughly  the last 10-11 weeks I have been on multiple rounds of antibiotics for a uti. I am also on birth control. Last month my period was normal. This month however, it started Friday and it was very very light bleeding. To the point I didn’t even need a tampon change more than like once a day. I had sex a few times during this but is this normal?

Antibiotics can mess with your cycle. Both my Mum and my mother in law have been through the mess of prolonged and frequent re-occurring uti’s and the best advice I can give you is to run the culture of the bacteria so they can target it with the correct antibiotic, once they get you on the correct one make sure you take note of what it is you are taking as it will probably be helpful in the future if you have another uti. Goodluck, fingers crossed it’s not much longer on antibiotics.
