How to encourage independent play- PLEASE HELP

If my daughter is awake, I must be playing with her. Even if she wants go to a different room, she take my hand and drags me with her. If I don’t follow, she screams.

PLEASE! How can I encourage her to play independently. She has plenty of toys. She does not play with them independently. I have to get my work done! The only time I can get my work done is when she’s watching TV, and I don’t want to sit her in front of the TV all day.

Help! She’s 22 months.
