How soon after miscarriage will period start?

Any of you have a miscarriage in the last month or so? I had one March 27th and after bleeding for a week I feel like my period is about to start. Is that normal? Anybody start a new cycle after a loss recently? Looking for similar experience/cycle buddy.

Mine didnt come back for 11ish weeks. It took 9 weeks for my beta to go to zero. Body just held on to the hormones annoyingly. I was 9.5 weeks pregnant when I lost it and had a D&C.

I miscarried at 5 weeks. Got a positive ovulation 2 weeks later and a period 4 weeks later.

After my miscarriage, my period came 4 weeks later. Kinda like a regular cycle.

I’m sorry for your loss! Worst experience ever. I had a MMC in March at 10w2d. Had a D&C on March 17th. It took 3.5 weeks for the HCG to leave my system and finally get a negative test. Today I got my first period. It came 4 weeks and 1 day after my D&C. My Dr told me everyone is different but your cycle usually returns between 4-6 weeks after the miscarriage.

I’m sorry for your loss. I miscarried in feb. I don’t have advice about when a period might return since I didn’t have one after mine. I bled for 6 days, after my hcg dropped below 5 (which was 3 days after that), my midwife gave me the okay to start trying again. I had a positive digital pregnancy test exactly 3 weeks later with our rainbow. Sending you all the love!
