Allergic reaction!?! After birth

I have been experiencing these hives for a while and I don’t know what to do, this time it got so bad it was hard to breathe and my throat was closing up, I’m scared it will get worse I don’t know what I’m allergic to I didn’t eat anything new I did just have a baby through csection a month ago and that’s when this all started, could it be related to giving birth also I did not scratch my neck I don’t know what to do

My friend had a reaction to the anesthesia after her c section but that was immediate. You should def call your doctor.

My first hive ever was after my csection. Apparently, 20 percent of women get them after birth. The theory is hormonal changes causing it. Mine actually didn't go away, really. They came every cycle which leads me to believe my son's birth caused me to become sensitive to progesterone. But, again, that is my theory. There are not a lot of studies on it. I never got to the point of not being able to breathe. I would take Benadryl before you get to the point of throat issues. Of course, call 911 if you can't breathe. I think they resolve on their own, for most, once their hormones go back to normal.

If you feel like your throat is closing up you need to call 911 and shit is getting weird right now where Ems people don’t even want to touch you. We had to call paramedics the other night for my grandmother and they wouldn’t even come into our house until we swore we weren’t fucking sick. 
So I would be calling your dr as soon as you possibly can, figure out what this is, Take some Benadryl in the meantime. 
Are you on pain medication since your c-section? It could be that. 
But whatever it is, you want to figure it out and you want a solution ASAP.
