Should I use tampons ?

So im 13 and I am really scared to use tampons I’m scared of it hurting when i put it up there and  what if it gets stuck up their forever 🥺

Always use regular tampons when starting out, the others may be too big snd uncomfortable unless you have heavy periods that was my mistake starting out. The way I put them in is placing one foot on the toilet  and than angle the tampon a little bit at the opening and push it in as deep as it goes than push it in. Make sure to relax so it can go in smoothly

if won’t get stuck forever, i promise! when putting them in make sure you get them in the right position, if they’re sitting right they won’t hurt at all. and when taking them out, make sure it isn’t dry, pulling out a dry tampon might be uncomfortable or even a little painful, but a full one will come out just fine. good luck😊

I found the hardest thing about first using tampons, is trying to relax enough to inset them. You get used to it after a while.  
If your not comfortable using them, then don’t! There’s no rules to say what you should or shouldn’t use...

i started my period the day after i turned 13 and i’ve ONLY used tampons. i found that pads were uncomfortable and the feeling of the blood grossed me out. there are a TON of online tutorials (non-graphic) on how to put a tampon in successfully. if you put it in right, you won’t feel it. you may need to practice a few times and it may be uncomfortable at first if you put it in wrong but just take it out and try again. i recommend using the light tampons when practicing so it doesn’t hurt when you pull a dry tampon out 😂🤣 but when you figure it out use whatever size you need for your flow
