Should i tell them im pregnant at the interview?

I have an interview at a nursing home tmrw for CNA. Im currently 10wk and 4 days and she told me the night shift 10-6 was open. I know on this shift usually everyone is in bed so its jsut changing people. So there shouldnt be too much lifting. But should i still tell them im pregnant at my interview?

Technically you dont have to. Also know that even though they are supposed to be in bed thats not the reality so you will have quite a bit of lifting.

Typically I’d say no but with the covid situation if you don’t feel comfortable around those patients I would tell them. That’s just me.

If it’s going to affect your job performance then yes they should know. I’m just assuming they would prefer to hire someone who can meet expectations without having to have extra help on shift with that person constantly to make up for them not be capable of doing their job on their own.

Nope. Not their business. If anything comes up that makes you need to stop working, just tell them then. More than likely they’re going to hire you either way... it’s a nursing home 😂 (I’m a QMA at a nursing home) they hire everyone.

Meant to hit yes! If there are things you can’t do for the job because you’re pregnant I think they should know beforehand for them and your safety
