Membrane sweep with ZERO Cramps so far??😬

I’m 40 weeks exactly. Did a membrane sweep and my OB said it was a “great sweep” and that was SIX HOURS AGO and I have no cramps, no contractions, no spotting...nothing. I get that the sweep does not always work but what was your experience? Could it still kick in later? Or was it just a dud? PS. I went on a walk and I’ve been using my birthing ball but nothing😔

I had mine done with my second and I climbed up and down several flights of stairs and it wasn't until the next day a while 24 hours that labor started and I attribute labor starting to acupuncture i doubt the sweep did anything for me!

Mine was a dud. Had to be induced 10d late, he still didn’t want to come out after 2d of pitocin and eventually ended up getting a c section. 
It was NOT any of the scenarios I thought might happen but whatever, we are both happy and healthy.

I didn't feel anything right after my sweep at 2pm 40+1 but I started having contractions at 4am and was admitted at 4pm 40+2 and gave birth at 3:11am 40+3. Maybe in a little while longer you'll start feeling something!

Probably a dud. I had my membranes stripped twice with my first baby. First time didn’t do anything. I had mild cramps for a few hours but they petered out and i stayed pregnant for another 2 weeks :-)  the second time I went into later that day and had my baby the next day.
