Female or Male gyno?

Question

Which one do you prefer to go to and why ?
I personally prefer females, because a male gyno won't relate on a personal level with what I'm going through emotionally,  and also because i had a friend who went to med school and heard nasty talk between male med students who were specializing in that field and lets just say they appeared innocent but they were secretly perverts ( I'm not saying all of them are, just those were enough to put me off strange men getting close to that area)

Male 100%. It was a 10x better experience then with female. All I ever heard from her was ‘it’s normal, it’s normal’ compared to the male, he actually decided to look into it for me. I have had suspicions of PCOS for 2 years, he was the one who decided to order blood tests and ultrasound and all the ‘fun’ stuff. He cared about things I told him while pregnant too. Way better then the female again with ‘normal this, normal that’

Male gynos  have actually been more gentle with me than females.

A doctor is a doctor to me. A man delivered my first born and sang "happy birthday" as he was pulling him out of the birth canal. I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect.

Med students might be perves but gynos have one of the nastiest jobs. Delivering babies isn’t sexy and neither is draining cysts or doing check ups during menstrual cycles. 
If a man wanted to be a gyno strictly for perverted reasons he would NEVER make it through school. Trust me. 
My first was a woman and my current is a man. I’m indifferent as long as they get the job done.

Male.. the female in my town doesnt seem to be very caring. Whenever i had a question she seemed annoyed.

When I went to a female obgyn I felt like she was very judgmental. I told her I hadn’t had a period in almost a whole year and that’s how my cycles had been since my first period at 12 and she just said that I was over weight (I was 17, 5’7 and weighed 140, played a bunch of sports too) Her “solution” was for me to take an ovulation test every day for one year and then come back to report what I had found. Once I left that appointment I got in with a male doctor and at my first visit just telling him my symptoms he diagnosed me with pcos (he followed it up with test to confirm). Now, it’s a breeze going back to him. He listens to what I say and actually is trying to help me ttc. I will never go back to a female doctor!

I had a female from when I was a teen until late 20s. I got pregnant and she said she retired from Obstetrics so had to find a new one. First one I picked, a guy, was even better than she was. I'm with him until he retires. Hopefully, his son will take over like he did for his dad. Lol

I prefer men. They’re no nonsense and solution focused. I have rarely had a good experience with female doctors in general. All the male doctors I have had went above and beyond for me.
That being said, I’ve had shitty make doctors and shitty female doctors. When I choose doctors, I go off ratings/reviews online. I start there and then see if they are a good fit for me.

The one time I had a male gyno, my husband ended up coming to one of my appointments and he didn't address me directly the whole time. 🙃
