Baby during bottle feeding

I need your help. My daughter is 4 months old and she’s been formula fed since she was 3 days old. I use the dr browns bottles since the beginning.

We never had any problems, but recently she started crying. Sometimes before I give her the bottle, sometimes during. And the weird thing is that some feeds go without problems and some are terrible. With her even refusing to drink more but if I try a little bit longer she will take the bottle again.

When she started doing this I went from the number 1 nipple to number 2. She does drink faster and better but the crying hasn’t changed.

Anyone know what this can be? The bottle isn’t too warm, she isn’t teething or has a ear infection.

I’m considering getting a different bottle. Would that work? And which one would you recommend then?

My baby has been breastfed and formula fed since her second day of life and she’s always taken bottles super well. But I’d say abut a month or so ago she started to cry when I’d give her the bottle sometimes, not all the time though. The only thing that works for me is to stand up be feed her while standing/walking around. Not the most comfortable thing or easier thing but when she needs to eat and won’t stop crying, you do what you gotta do 😂 i have no idea why she does this and like I said it’s not with every bottle, just some. I did move her up to medium flow nipples too and she eats better but still does this sometimes🤷‍♀️ good luck!

4 month leap. I’m not kidding you, I went through this EXACT same thing. He is 4.5 months and it gets better some days and some days (today) it was horrible. I tried size 2 nipple, different bottle, started to think he hated my milk. I even took him in to the dr because I thought maybe ear infection. What I find helps is laying him on the boppy lounger and feed him that way, i don’t know why but he likes to look at me. He also does better with a distraction like dangling his paci above him to watch or put on sensory videos on YouTube. I can’t wait til it’s over and can’t imagine what he would have been like at daycare! Come to find out he is teeth and is getting his canines first 😂😂 so that might be why he is still doing it🤷🏻‍♀️
