So what’s everyone’s almost 3 year old up to these days?

Potty trained, counts to 15, colors down, numbers learning, she plays outside 99% of the time, and she will be a big sister in January 2021

She can count to 30 and loves counting down from 10 when she’s about to do something. She loves letters, knows all upper and lowercase and knows a few sight words. She can write her name and a few other simple words. She knows her address and we’re working on our phone number. She loves drawing faces and trying to color in the lines. She’s daytime potty trained, but I don’t think we’re anywhere close to being nighttime potty trained. She’s really into dancing, singing, robots, dinosaurs and space. She’s a great story teller and can swim by herself. We live in FL so she’s been taking lessons every season since she was 8 months old to learn the rescue float, underwater swim and roll to float. She’s perfecting the doggy paddle this summer. She asks a thousand questions a day and has a great sense of humor! I can’t wait to see what she does this year! She’s starting a pre-vpk in August. 😭

Counting - yes but sometimes she does the wrong order almost on purpose 
Drawing - yes specifying what things are now and sometimes the formation is actually looking like what she says. Can draw basic shapes. 
Potty trained yeah since just are 2yo but has accidents when she’s being stubborn 
Pretty much dropped her naps though this lockdown has her trying to nap out of boredom but then she wakes at the crack of dawn 😩 so have to push through with entertaining nonstop 
Obsessed with cutting things with scissors and knives (as in food and child safe for both) 
She can write an A and an O and can recognise quite a few letters but we’re still working on it. 
Obsessed with making up little stories and imaginative play, interactive play (like shops etc) and at the moment asking us about death 😣

Counts to 10, potty trained, managed to drop her dummy, just recently began colouring in the lines, knows her colours and some shapes! Takes great pride in telling people her full name and as of December is smashing it as a big sister

Counts to 10, knows his shapes, learning letters (can pick out A, S, X, O, and I by sight regularly). Dropped the nap on most days, no super interested in potty training. Starting to say he’s scared of things, or tel me he’s sad. Super excited about his little sister coming at the end of August.

He never stops talking! He knows his colors, shapes, counting to 20, his name, age and much more! However, he is not potty trained and does not care to be potty trained, it’s driving this mommy crazy! Lol.

He is 100% potty trained, he is so talkative and very smart, he knows all of his shapes, colors, animals, etc. he knows some letters, can count to 10. He has a 9 month old little brother. He is also very good at playing drums —he can keep steady beats and knows a few different styles of playing. (His dads a drummer 😌)

She is going to be a big sister in October! 2nd baby girl on the way!
