Fiancé spent $500 on playstation WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Yes you read that right. In less than 45 days he has spent about $500 on playstation if not more. No, not all of it was stimulus. Most wasn’t. I am so financially stressed. We have a son and we need to find a new place to live that’s stable. We live with my mom and it’s horrible. I won’t go into that. He won’t stop y’all and it’s truly giving me second thought. Is that bad? I mean I have pleaded with him to stop. He spends more than our truck payment. As if it’s nothing. And as I type this he is trading off an account WE put lots of money into off so his buddy can have it!! Oh, and this morning someone charged $99.99 to our bank account from one of his playstation accounts!! I have to report it Monday when the bank opens and I have contacted playstation!! He swears it wasn’t him. I didn’t get an email like usual thanking him for his purchase so I’m assuming it’s one of his buddies!! He spent $100 today buying shit too. Accounts that are “OG” with stupid ass names.

I would sit down and have a very serious discussion with him letting him know that what he's doing isn't okay, and explain why. If he can't/won't be more responsible, id take that as a sign that he wasn't ready to put his family first, and I'd seperate our finances and send him on his way. He can screw up his own finances and life, but I wouldn't be down to letting it drag me and my child down with it

I would leave him.  I wouldn’t be able to be with someone that irresponsible.  To spend $500 when you live with in laws and have a son is fucking ridiculous.

You can report the fraudulent charge today. You don’t have to wait for Monday. Banks have a 24hr line for that. Just expect to be on hold for awhile.

If you have a joint account and you can see both of your purchases sit down and highlight all PS, grocery, gas, Bill's. Ect. All in different colors. Do this for couple months. Sit down and talk with him and be like we make $xxxx.xx and this is what we spent these 2 months. This is how much you spent on PS. 
See if he changes his mind set. My husband was TERRIBLE with money. Wed pay off a credit card and hed max it out again. PayPal was like $1000 month on junk(semi hoarder)!! I sat down and showed him we made this much but spending way to much!! He finally realized it.. he got his credit cards, cut them up. I tell him $200 on PayPal. Since we have done that about a yr ago we have been able to pay off all the CC, CC loan we took out to pay the cards, got a new vehicle. Now almost have the house paid off. All in about yr and half!!

Contact the bank today if you have a fraudulent charge. Get new bank cards. 
I would not live with or marry someone who didn’t see the importance of financial stability. I would not sign a lease or share an account until you two fixed the issues also. You need to discuss finances, expectations and budgeting. Immediately. I’d also be taking financial wellness classes as a couple. You need to be on the same page.

It totally was him. And he’s lying. Finances ruin relationships. Don’t get married until you are sure of his financial habits and form a plan (ex you handle the $$, joint/separate accounts, etc). His debt will become your debt.

I mean, I know in our house it isn’t unusual for my husband to drop $500-$1000 on a comic book whenever. He makes the money though, and all our bills are paid and all is well. 
If your finances aren’t in a comfortable spot, that would definitely be frustrating. Try having a conversation about it and getting on the same page.
