My husband loves being outdoors...hunting and fishing. I don’t mind it...I let him go whenever he wants but now that my son is almost 2 it’s a sore spot. We both work at least 40 hrs per week. My husband expects me to cook (home cooked) meals daily and I have to try to clean when I can, because my son is a little tornado and my husband is usually outside.

Yesterday my husband was gone from 4:30 am-7 pm fishing with some guys. And he has pics and brought home fish, so yes, he really was fishing. Today he woke up and immediately went outside to clean fish and is now driving a friend’s wife (who doesn’t have a license) around town to get stuff. His friend is military and currently deployed. I was a little irritated this morning to say the least. I have laundry to do, groceries to get, and a house to finish cleaning. While watching my son.

My husband claims it’s not a big deal and plenty of other women do it with no help. Basically said I was overreacting. So I sent a pic of my grocery list and told him to get it while he was out. Our county has almost 100 cases of Covid and I don’t want my son around places like grocery stores.

Is your husband or SO active in playing/watching your child or do you do it all? Does he help with household chores? I get so aggravated because it’s like he expects me to be superwoman while he hangs out with the guys.
