Exclusively nursing moms - how many times a day are you feeding your baby?

I’m still nursing 5x a day (6 if she’s up in the night) and I feel like this is a lot for this age! Is this normal?
She eats solids 3-4x a day and she eats A LOT!

6+ here. At wake up, before and after both naps (he usually falls asleep before he gets full), and before bed. Occasionally he gets hungry and wants milk at other times too.

6+, he nurses on demand, eats solids (BLW) and we bedshare so he nurses during the night while we sleep ❤️

At morning wake up. Nap 1 wake up. Nap 2 wake up. And before bed for the night.
He barely wants to eat before bed tho.

3 or 4 times usually only before naps or before bed then sometimes after he eats he'll nurse for a couple minutes just to wash down his meal I guess lol

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS POST!!!!!! I thought I was going crazy with nursing and that I was the only one still going more than 5x. We did struggle big time in the beginning with solids (6m). Tried again at 7m he seemed to enjoy them and then stopped again cold turkey! Since 8m I’ve been doing blw (my version of it) and he seems to be enjoying food better! But let me tell you my son LOVES mamas milk 💙😝 he has solids 2-3x a day and I give him so snacks like those teethers or puffs.
