Advice?

Question

Okay mommas with 2 kids. 
I have a 14 month old and my SO and I are on the fence with having another. Can anyone give me so encouraging advice or tell me how it is for you?  Anyone have to talk to their SO more about it before they said yes?

My husband and I always said we wanted two kids. After having our son I think my husband realized how much work kids are (basically at the beginning. I don’t think dads quite understand or like the newborn stage like a mother does). He kind of changed his mind and wasn’t really interested in having another. I was upset because I knew I always wanted two but I figured well at least I have a child. After he got a little older though my husband came around and we did end up deciding to have another. So now we have an almost 3 year old and a 4 month old. I’m not going to lie, it’s hard. It’s much different taking care of two kids rather than just one. Things you may have been strict with before can get thrown out the window a little more the second time around. And every baby if different. If you had an easy first, don’t automatically assume your next will be that way too. Our daughter is way different than our son was. All that being said, I couldn’t imagine not having them both. It’s double the work but double the love. My kids are my world and as crazy as they make me sometimes, they are the perfect additions to our family. My best advice, definitely talk about it. There is definitely a little mor strain on my marriage now. We were fine after our first but the fact that things have been more hectic, we definitely are having a harder time now. Granted with this pandemic we don’t have any alone time at all because we’ve been staying with my parents.
