Am I wrong?

Hi everyone!

Id like your opinions.

I’m going to try to make this as short as possible: my boyfriend and I are both 19. I’m studying to become a teacher, and he is pursuing a more “alternative” route and focusing on music (he’s doing well, has a pretty big following, etc). The plan was always for him to stay where we are right now while I finish college, and then we’d move to where he wants to go for his (what would hopefully be by then) career.

HOWEVER, he recently told me he’s decided that he is moving to Chicago...in just over a month. Obviously, I want to support him, but I’m heartbroken and I’ll miss him so much. It’s going to be hard adjusting to having him move 12 hours away when he’s always lived a 2 minute drive from me.

ANYWAYS. I was texting my friend. Here’s the conversation:

She is doing long distance with her boyfriend, who lives in England (she started dating him knowing he lived in England). What she said really hurt my feelings, as I’ve told her before that I’m always here to talk about her boyfriend if she wants.

What do you ladies think? Was I being insensitive? Was she? Help. ):
