Any c section mamas on here?

I had my daughter via c section 4 months ago & I want to start trying again. No judgment. My OB never told me I needed to wait. I’m wanting to try for a VBAC my next pregnancy. I know the longer you wait, the more chance of success there is. Buuuut, if you had a VBAC for one of your pregnancies, how many mpp were you when you delivered?

well your ob failed by not informing you on the risks. and if you do get pregnant quickly it's very unlikely a doctor would agree to a vbac that soon. I'd suggest letting your body heal

I got pregnant 3 months after my c section I had twins and they passed away, my daughter was born 04/14/20 I was induced at 41 weeks VBAC went perfect 3 pushes and she was out

I had a c section and got pregnant 4 months pp. my dr was disappointed, as am I. She absolutely refuses a vbac under 1 year pp if you had no complications and 18 months with them. I am not high risk because of being so soon, and have to be carefully monitored. I def wouldnt encourage someone to try this early, our bodies are still healing.

My sister and I both had c-sections and we were both told by the 3 different hospitals, midwives and doctors to have a minimum of 18 months between delivery dates.

I don’t have experience with a VBAC, but I know my doctor recommends waiting 18 Months to before getting pregnant again after a csection, and you need to wait at least a year to be eligible for a VBAC. I know every doc/practice is different though. I’d say if you really want a VBAC, you should contact your doctor and get their advice.
