Am I just doing to much ?

Ok so my birthday is tmr and so me and my bf get into altercation because i knew he wasn’t giving me anything for it but way before my bday came around he was telling me how he was gonna buy me stuff or whatever but then now it’s close he’s talking about maybe not tmr but later on next week and I’m trying to be patient because I feel like well I got you something on your bday so why you didn’t buy me nothing for mines for his bday i spent $225 or more and I’m not needing for nothing because my parents give me money mind you I’m turning 17 , am I just doing to much or is that wrong of him not to get me nothing ?
