For moms who had/have puppp!

Has anyone been told they have it and NOT have a rash? I was tested for cholestasis over the weekend. The results came back in the normal range. However I was given meds that I started that day, and my OB asked if they were working. They are not, and almost seem like they make it worse. I sleep an average of 2-3 hours a night because I'm up all night scratching. So now he wants to retest tomorrow incase we caught it early, and wants to do some other tests too. The first thing they asked when mentioned was if I had a rash, once I said no they wanted to test for the cholestasis. So I'm wondering if it's possible to have it without the rash.. I cant find anything for severe itching except those two things. I will be glad if the retest comes back normal and can wait until my original c section date, I just no it will be a lonnnnng 4 weeks haha. I also dont want to be paying a fortune for these meds that dont even seem to work!
