Cluster feeding?

So my pediatrician adivsed me that for my 10 day old my feedings should last 10 to 15 mins. Does this apply to cluster feeds? First time breast feeding and Im worried she isn't or won't get enough. TIA

Actually you should aim for a 15-20min nursing session as that gives time for the hindmilk to come through. Which is the good fatty milk. 
As for cluster feeds they can range on how long. 
All honesty. Just let baby nurse as long as baby wants and as often as baby wants. Don’t watch the clock. Really just puts more stress on you.

I was worried about this too with my baby (also a ftm) because at about a week old she only nursed 10 minutes on one breast only (15 minutes if i was lucky) and then would unlatch herself and refuse to relatch; and i was being told 15-20 minutes EACH SIDE using both breasts per feeding. After frequent weight checks i stopped worrying when she gained 7oz over one weekend. My LO just happens to be a very efficient sucker lol.
