How do you find time to pump?
My daughter is 4 months old, and I’m finally coming to terms with the fact that I need to switch to EPing. She has a pretty significant lip tie that her pediatrician doesn’t want to get corrected, so she doesn’t latch correctly and ends up swallowing a ton of air. It makes her super gassy and she spits up an abnormal amount. She can latch correctly to bottles so it would solve that issue. She also just takes bottles better now (she went through a patch where she wouldn’t take bottles at all but they’re now her preference) and gets super distracted while I’m breastfeeding her. She just eats more and does better with bottles.
My biggest issue is, how do I make time to pump every 2-3 hours? I tried to completely switch to EPing last week but every time I put her down to pump, she cries the entire time. Sometimes I get lucky and she’s napping when it’s time to pump, but the two times rarely lined up. I can keep her entertained with toys for maybe 10mins with toys, but then she’ll spend the last 10mins of my pumping session crying.
How do you guys find the time to pump so many times a day?! What can I do??
