Weaning 1 year old

My little one turned 1 last week. A couple of days ago she decided she likes milk- it’s been a struggle introducing it to her this past month. It was like it just “clicked” for her. She went 8 hours no nursing yesterday and now 24 hours no nursing today. She hasn’t whined/attempted and I haven’t offered. She’s even went down for her nap and bedtime without nursing! Which is a miracle 🥺😳 (I’m guilty of nursing to sleep)

Should I go ahead and not nurse since she seems to be initiating the process. I am so ready but I was planning on easing her away over the next two months. My supply has dropped a good bit in the past month because her sessions were going 4 hrs apart and she decided she liked food- she hated/refused baby food until she was 9 months old...

I guess what I’m trying to ask is, is it okay if I take this opportunity to stop nursing cold turkey?? Has anyone else done this?
