Preeclampsia ?

What happens when you get diagnosed with preeclampsia? I’m 36 weeks 4 days and just got admitted for elevated bp. Will more than likely be diagnosed with preeclampsia. Would I still be able to have a vaginal birth or does it guarantee me an emergency c-section? I am 4cm, 100% effaced and a -2 station last time I was checked this morning.

I had my twins vaginally. They induced me at a 33 weeks because of it. As far as I'm aware it's only if it's no longer safe for you and or baby that a c-section is required.

I had it with both pregnancies. The first one my blood pressure shot up and they induced me. But then it shot up again and I had to have an emergency c-section. My second pregnancy I also got it but I chose to have a csection. It depends on the situation!

I had a c section :) but it was also because babies HR dropped so I told them I didn’t wanna do vaginally.

My friend got to have hers vaginally, her labor was quick once they induced her. She was just shy of 36 weeks. (We were due the same day, and I had my baby a week later) She was admitted bc her blood pressure wouldn’t go down, and once it reached a certain point that’s when they induced!
