Just opened this new box of crackers and two of the sleeves are slightly unsealed; safe or not? Box seems normal, date is good, says “sealed for freshness” rather than safety. I feel like I’m being overly cautious even asking but still.

I wouldn’t. You don’t know what could have crawled in the box. Or how they were handled. I’m sure whatever store you got them from would exchange them. Obv there not eaten so I don’t see why they’d have a prob

Update: hubby decided to open and eat some before we exchanged them, so when I told him about the openings he said he’ll eat the open ones, and they’d probably be just slightly stale. So I’m eating the sealed ones.
