18 month old grabs my hands and points to what he wants.

This past week I’ve noticed my almost 19 month old son will grab my hand or finger and the point to what he wants. I.e I’m reading a book to him and I point out a bird or a tree he thing grabs my finger and uses it to point to all those things again. Then today we were doing an activity with sprinkles in a bag and he grabbed my hand used it to point to the bag then to the opening to signal that he wanted me to open the bag. Is this normal or should I be concerned? He does say a few words but not a ton and can make lots of animal noises. I am worried about him not talking enough and this just doesn’t help my anxiety. No signs of autism or any learning disability but I am worried the hand pointing instead of talking can mean something. Any advice. Anyone else kid do this?
