Family Hates Baby Name

I’m not sure how you could hate the name Ruby, but my whole family says it’s just not cute, it’s old, it sounds like a stripper name, etc. 😂

I love the name so much though! I’m still going to name my daughter Ruby, but for some reason it just feels illegal 😂

What names have your family disproved of but you still named your baby? Or did it make you change your mind? Did it grow on them over time?

I might compromise and name her Madeline Ruby, but we’ll see!
