Paint color

What color are your living rooms/ kitchens. We've been building an addition onto our house since last year and are finally to the point we can paint and i'm stuck. My current living/ kitchen are blue and green but I think I want to tone down more/ go more neutral and save colors for the bedrooms. The flooring is a wood grain tile all the way through in a more of medium to dark brown. Cabinets are white/cream and the island is a dark grey/blue.

Pictures would be great as I found out I am need a visual representation because I can't picture anything in my head. I just don't know what a normal house looks like I've been surrounded by color for so long.
