What convertible car seat did you settle on & why?

We don’t leave the house at all and she is way too big for her infant seat. Suggestions for a new convertible?

We have a nuna rava in my car and a cybex sirona in my husbands truck. I chose the nuna because it has excellent safety ratings, high height and weigh limits to rear face (I want her rear facing as long as possible) and it’s aesthetically pleasing to me and the fabric is nice. Similar reasons for the cybex, but it is much cheaper and she doesn’t ride in my husbands truck as often as my car. I could have accomplished the safety rating and the rear facing height and weight limits with a graco or similar, but honestly I just can’t stand the plastic fabric they put on their products so I won’t buy them.

We have a grace extend-2-fit in one car and a britax advocate in the other. I much prefer the britax because it’s a little wider. When he falls asleep in it, I can get him out without waking him up, whereas the grace is so narrow that I have to sort of wrestle his arms out and he always wakes up.

Graco SlimFit because we have small-ish cars and it’s not very expensive. We’ve used it for 3.5 years so far with our first and love it.
