When are you planning on potty training?

I'm starting to think about potty training now that I'm currently at home with my little one. Anyone started or does anyone have any tips?

I introduced the potty to my daughter at 18 months. I bought her a seat for the toilet. I put her on there before baths and sometimes when I think she needs to go. I also bought her a book that makes the flushing sound. I know it’s early but I’m not pushing anything. Just an intro and trying to make it fun. She like to flush the toilet. I still need to buy little stairs and I’m waiting for her to say poo poo and pee pee, so she can communicate when she needs to go. I make sure when I am changing her diaper I tell her what I’m cleaning. I too am taking advantage of being home, but in a few months I go on maternity leave, so I will push the potty training more when we get closer to her 2nd birthday around 22/23 months.

My LO loves it, we just introduced it at 18 months and he tells us when he has to poop and we take him to it. We never had to even teach him, we had shown him how we go pee in toilet for a couple of months so he knew exactly what it meant. 
But we still put pull ups on him and don’t expect to stop that completely for a while. He is enjoying the potty though.

We have brought a potty into our living room and put her on it when we recognise shes about to pee. 
Its hit and miss. 
Shes started going to it herself but only like 1 a day and doesn't always pee.
We are going to be making a proper attempt during the summer, when its warm enough for her to literally be walking about in just a tshirt. We have tile floors so clean up is relatively minimal.

Whenever she’s showing the signs. I’ll be having my second baby around the time she turns 2 so if it isn’t this summer it’ll be well after her birthday.
