Turning a breech baby?!

Has anyone had to have their baby turned by the dr before delivery because they were breech?

I’m 32w & my baby turned from side to side down to bum first instead of head first. My dr said there’s still time for him to move but he is measuring big so his window of opportunity is smaller, as is my opportunity for them to turn him. They want to wait until I’m closer to my induction date, but they don’t want to wait too long & him be too big to turn.

I know it’s not a for sure thing yet, but I’m a planner & like to know what things are like before it happens. She gave me a brief explanation & said before/ if I need it done she’ll explain more in depth.

I just wanted to hear others experiences! They way she described it sounded very uncomfortable.
