Should he still give her money?

My SO has two kids with his ex. He has joint physical and legal custody and doesn’t pay child support. We’ve been living together for six months and his ex hates that we’re together. His ex keeps calling asking for money for this bill and that bill. We’ve got our own household bills to pay but since I make a nice amount of money, she tells him he can afford to give her money. She says he promised to be there for her and since she has the kids, he should help her. I’m not opposed to him financially helping but this chick act like it’s her right; like he owes her something.
Update:  they were never married and the courts already ordered that he doesn’t have to pay support to her. They make similar salaries and custody is joint. He has his kids 50/50.

He might as well put himself of child support and she get what she gets from that. Cause at this point she’s gonna keep throwing “we have 3 kids together & this needs to be done and I need help with...” all in his face. I’ll just kill the noise with going to the court house

Does he have a legal seperation or a divorce?  If so, those documents spell out what she's entitled to if anything.  If not, it sounds like he needs to get 1 or the other.  In the mean time keep all receipts & records of what he's giving her.
She sounds like a manipulator & this won't stop, unless he puts a stop to it.
Btw, it does NOT matter what YOU MAKE.  You didn't have the children & unless you're married to him or with him a long time, she & her children are NOT your financial burden.

This is exactly why you go through the court system and have child support so that people can’t take it advantage or use guilt or use children as leverage or manipulation to get what they want. They have a set amount and that is it.

No, he’s not responsible for her bills. If they have a custody agreement through court and he’s not paying child support per that, then why would he give her money? Unless it’s for extracurricular activities or something else agreed on in court that makes no sense for her to even mention. He has 50/50 so he probably has the kids just as much as her. Child support is for the child not to pay the ex’s bills for them.

I’ve had this issue with my step dughtersmom she gets child support but always asking for more because she is older into sports and dance obviously I have zero issue with helping out she’s his child it’s what he’s supposed to however she just had a new baby so I was suspicious of her intent on asking for the money. I told him if she wants help paying for these activities then she needs to provide us with where she’s doing them and when payment needs to be made either my husband or myself will go there physically and pay for such activity and get a receipt. I didn’t want her trying any funny slick business regarding this she changed her mind real quick and said she wasn’t going to be doing these listed activities all of a sudden. She didn’t want the money for my step daughter she wanted for herself and new baby. If his children need something cool what is needed go get it send it to her in regards to a bill that is acquired for the children how much is it and where can he pay for it at suggest this kind of stuff or just do the child support route to end the calls for consent money.

If they didn’t order him to pay child support your income doesn’t matter. Even if she were to take him back to court for child support and say well his chick makes money they don’t care. (My stepmoms mom tried that.) the judge said so? As she there when this child was conceived? Then financially it’s not HER responsibility. Sounds like she’s abusing the whole kid thing.
