I recently got the Kyleena IUD 11 days ago. And my period was set to start on around the 1st of May. I had some pretty bad cramps the first day the IUD was inserted but nothing until the 30th I started feeling mild cramps randomly throughout the day. Heavy Bleeding started on May 2nd plus very severe cramps all day. I took ibuprofen but that did not help. Since then I’ve had bleeding plus mild cramps. I’ve seen several people say they don’t bleed much on there periods or periods have stopped entirely after getting the IUD. For me my period has gotten worse than before. Is this normal or should I be concerned? 😓
