I’ve cheated on my husband and he has tried to cheat multiple times because of the hurt. We’ve just proven ourselves trustworthy. We’re separated now just to work on ourselves and basically date each other again but we are getting back together and even trying for a child. It’s just based on how bad and how willing both of you are willing to work things out. One thing we both said with this separation is we don’t want to MAKE it work, like force it. We want things to be natural, but of course there are things we can work on in the relationship but the basis/foundation shouldn’t be forced

Yes and yes but shortly after I started to resent him and just feel disgusted by him I ended up leaving because I wasn't attracted to him anymore. Alot of the time you just can't get back the trust and without that there's no relationship.

My ex cheated. We separated for a while. We decided to work on the relationship so we started going to counseling every week. It took some years but we were able to get through it.  We broke up years later for unrelated reasons. Infidelity is a common problem in marriage and there are good therapists out there. Therapy is a huge part of working it out.

I met my now husband and my ex tried to pull the "i love you, I'll change" card because he saw someone better in my life than him. Technically yes, but I didn't know until months after I broke up with him that he was sleeping with other girls, I knew when I was with him he was hitting on them. A gal he was sleeping with and him would be right in front of me acting like they hated each other. 
But I dumped him because he was boring, AND I didn't sleep with him at all, I was 18 & a virgin. So his cheating didn't have an impact on me after the fact, I was just like: ok what an asshole, glad I dumped him. 
So I usually just say no if people ask if I've been cheated on, because the situations I've been in either don't have the impact cheating can have, or they're unproven- as in, one of my other ex's ignored me to hang out with another gal constantly, BUT she's asexual. 
Now they are together, I'm friends with my ex, he complains about her being ace. I feel for him being with someone unaffectionate and not having sex, at the same time, you knew going in to the relationship. 
Another time I thought my ex slept with his roommate but I couldn't prove it. His dick tasted like a condom...
So yeah I've thought maybe, but never caught anyone.
