Teething?

What are your kiddos like when teething is bad? My guy has been waking up between 5-5:30 daily and will be crying within 5 mins of waking. He used to wake up happy and play in his crib for a while.

Then he’ll be whiny and clingy all day and cry hysterically when he’s tired before every nap and bedtime 😳 he seems super tired and cranky and I think it’s teething because he has his hand in his mouth ALL DAY but I also don’t know if his mood could be due to something else.... we’re not in a leap right now lol
