When to wean off the bottle?

Any advice on when and how to do this would be great. Do I completely take away milk at naps and bedtime? Or continue to give the milk just out of a different cup? Help please! My daughter just turned 1 on April 21st😬😩

My son mostly nurses, but on the weekends we do a few bottles of milk from the freezer so it doesn’t expire. 
He gets water from a sippy cup, but he’s so messy with it! I’ve tried so many kinds and he’s always soaked with water after drinking! Until he gets better at drinking out of a sippy cup without making such a mess we’ll keep bottles on the weekend. I’d hate to water breast milk because he spills it!

I started offering iut of a soft tip sippy she refused for a whole day so she just didn't get any milk she finally gave in at bedtime and drank her milk out of the soft tip sippy. Next day she took it out of the soft tip no problem. And she loves it now. First day was hard but worked like a charm

My daughter nurses still at night and in the morning, but when we give her milk during the day we just put it in a sippy or straw cup. She doesn’t even seem to care her bottles are gone.

My son turned 1 april 15th. Up until yesterday we were sti doing 3 bottles a day of whole milk. Yesterday I gave him milk in a sippy in place of his midday bottle. He usually gets up through the night for one and its 530am and he hasnt yet so I'll probably offer some milk in a sippy with breakfast. He still takes a bottle at bedtime though and if he would get up through the night I'd give him a bottle just because I dont want to cold Turkey take them all at once trying to wean him down.
