Family Visits?

Question

Just wanna know if anyone has let their family or mom come over to see their L/O during these times? I want to let my mom come over more than anything so she can see my daughter for the first time in 2 months. Shes done door visits, where she stands outside and I hold my daughter up to her, but thats it. I feel comfortable letting her see and hold her granddaughter if she wears a mask, but I don't want people to think I'm a horrible mother or don't care about my baby. My mom has basically been doing the same thing as us, staying inside as much as possible and avoiding contact with people. But what has everyone else done?

My parents have seen our kids. But they also both work from home so have been out VERY little. But, I think I’d let them regardless. All the advice I have is- dont do things for other people, don’t consider how you might look to other people. YOUR baby YOUR choice. Nobody knows how much exposure your mom has had, nobody knows how much exposure even you’ve had..... it doesn’t matter, do what your heart thinks is best

My parents have seen my kids. My dad is essential but works from home. My mom hasn’t been able to work since the stay at home orders. The only places they have gone is to the store or to the post office. 
Personally I haven’t made them wear masks or anything. I just haven’t been very stressed about it all. My life hasn’t changed much (thankfully) I’m a SAHM and we didn’t leave the house much anyways except for the store or to my parents house.

My parents and in-laws (separately) came for visits last weekend. We set up chairs outside and stayed 6 feet apart. It was a manageable way for them to spend time with us and the babe. 
I agree with what another mom posted... you (all) do what you feel comfortable with.

The only family we live by is my MIL. She stops by and sees her through the glass door. But we’re too worried about her getting any closer. She sees everyone else on FaceTime. I think you should do whatever makes you comfortable!

My in-laws are retired so they see the kids when they wish. My parents are essential so they see the kids only 6 ft apart with a mask outfit. It sucks and breaks my heart but trying to be safe.

My mom has stopped by masked . My mother in law has stopped by, my sister masked and my dad masked but they all have stayed less than 10 minutes
